In this writing project, I really learn a lot either from the thoughtful and caring professor, the two patient and responsible teaching assistants, or the classmates who have ever read my essay and given me some advices. My appreciation is beyond expression. Thanks a million. Following is my thoughts and reviews of each writing process.

 

 

 

 

       In my first writing, I practiced process writing. The first process writing describes a simple process rather than a complex one. I really enjoyed the process of writing this essay, because I wrote it without any frustrations. Besides, it is my first work on the Wix. I was totally excited when I saw the outcome. I'm pretty satisfied with my first work. 

 

         However, my second writing didn’t go smoothly like the first one. Not only the content is more challenging and demanding than the former, but also the topic I picked wasn’t that easy. The second process writing asked us to describe a complex process of nature. At first, I chose blue tears as my topic. After the professor had given me the feedback, I found that the process I wrote didn’t correspond to the request of the professor. At then, I was kind of freaking out and didn't know what to do. Nevertheless, professor gave me lots of suggestions and helped me to revise it. At here, I have to thank to the professor that she was willing to wait for me to rewrite the whole essay. I'm so grateful to her from the bottom. of my heart. Although the grade is very low, I learned a lesson from it.

 

         As for the third writing, we firstly tried the comparison writing. I wrote the comparison between face-to-face conversation and social media. When I was writing the essay, searching information may be the most difficult part for me. Because the information on the internet wasn't complete, I had to rearrange it by myself. I was worried about how I should arrange the ordering of each comparing item to make the content more connected. In the class, I asked my partner for suggestions, and she helped me to clarify the connections between each paragraph. (📣： shout out to Shiela!) Except for this tricky part, the overall is quite good. By the way, from reviewing the classmates’ essays, I reflected upon me essay and discovered that I should put more examples into the content to illustrate. That’s a good learning experience for me.

         As for my last essay in this semester, also the second comparison essay, surprisingly I wrote it quite fluently. I compared the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese, which both are the languages that I’m familiar with. I found the topic really interesting, and I enjoyed the writing process a lot. I’m very glad that I have the chance to write this topic. At the meanwhile, I also learned that the concluding sentences at the end of each paragraph is very important after the e-conference with the professor. In this writing project, I surely can learn something from each writing experience.

         To conclude, I learned how to write a good essay slowly but stably, and I found this writing project interesting and with a lot of fun. I learned how to explain a complex process step by step with my own words, how important the given examples is for further illustrations, how to organize the paragraphs, and that always remember to conclude the content of each paragraph with a few words. The last but not least, I have to thank the professor, teacher assistants, my classmates, and those who are now viewing my essay through Wix again. This is my first time to put my writing works on a website. I have to say that this is a fantastic experience. I’m absolutely excited that I possess a corner for my writings which make me feel incredible. I can’t wait for my next creation of writing webpage.
